Tam Giang Lagoon is 24 km long and is situated in an area of more than 50 square kilometers. Tam Giang Lagoon in Hue is the largest brackish water lagoon in Southeast Asia…. The most beautiful moments on the lagoon are at sunset when it turns purple. A few fishing boats return with the whole lagoon’s surface shaking in the breeze. In Sunset at Tam Giang lagoon tour, we will visit a part of Tam Giang lagoon (a part in Thuan An, Hue city). Before leaving the lagoon, tourists will have a chance to enjoy fresh seafood such as fish, squid, clam, crab or shrimp in cottages along the lagoon. Nothing will be more interesting than tasting seafood and looking at the lagoon at sunset.
- 04:00 pm: Our car and experienced English speaking driver will pick you up at your hotel / stay in Hue and you start the trip to see the sunset at Tam Giang.
- 4:30 p.m – 05:00 pm: You will experience some fishing activities with local people.
- 5:00 p.m – 5:30 p.m: The boat will take you around Tam Giang Lagoon.
- 05:30 p.m – 06:30 p.m : Enjoy seafood dinner in a cottage along the lagoon. Tam Giang Lagoon is not only rich in fish , but also rich in other marine resources such as prawn, crabs, and other seafood. On the journey to explore Tam Giang Lagoon, there will be nothing more interesting than enjoying those local specialties harvested by hard-working fishermen from the particular mixture of sea water and river water.

Then he took us to a cave and showed us all the stalagmite formations. We had an amazing lunch on the boat as well.
