Itinerary
Marble Mountain is one of the most beautiful natural attractions in Hoi An, Da Nang. It is actually a group of five limestone and marble mountains. Each mountain has each distinctive name that follows the five ancient Chinese philosophy elements: the Metal, the Wood, the Water, the Fire and the Earth.
Hoi An is an old town down the Thu Bon River. It offers some of the most densely-concentrated sights in Vietnam with its buildings and street plan reflecting a blend of Vietnamese, Chinese and Japanese influences.
HOI AN CITY TOUR & MARBLE MOUTAIN PRIVATE TOUR
- 8:00 am: We will pick you up at your hotel in the city center and then go to the Marble Moutain. Start Hoi An City Tour & Marble Mountain.
- 8:30 am: Upon arrival at the Marble Mountain, we will climb up the stone stairs and go to the caves and pagodas in addition to admiring the gorgeous panoramic view. We’re going to head down the mountain and go to the stone village the place the native expert sculptors create many marble merchandise.
- 11:30 am: Go to Hoi An Old Town for lunch.
- 1:00 pm: We will visit the town of Hoi An by foot. The historic city, which was an affluent seaport metropolis from the 16th to 18th centuries, is now a beautiful metropolis that can not be missed when touring the Southeast Asian area. While strolling through the town, we’ll make just a few stops to go to Hoi An Market, the Historical House, Phuc Kien Chinese Assembly Hall, and the 400 years old Japanese Covered Bridge. Besides that, you have an opportunity to visit some Art Craft Manufacturing and artwork galleries in the old town.
- 5:00 pm: Our guide will take you back to your hotel where your Hoi An City Tour & Marble Mountain tour will conclude!

Robert was an especially great guide, who did a fantastic job explaining different aspects of the day, while teaching us various bits about language, culture and food. We are a family with 6 children between the ages of 3 and 16, and Robert did a great job making it an awesome experience for every age. The kayaking was a lot of fun, and worked for every age. And the kids (and adults) had a great time in the cave. The private tour worked great for our family, giving us flexibility on schedule (we were running late in the morning), and the route that our boat took was away from the large crowds and never felt very busy. The food was great for lunch - much better than I expected. Shrimp, squid, fish, crab, rice, fruit, spring rolls, etc. It was really a great day, and Robert helped to make everything really nice for our family. I would 100% recommend.
