- Our driver/ guide will pick you up from the hotels which are located in district 1. If your hotel is out of district 1, we will meet at our meeting point at 90 Bui Vien street, District 1, Ho Chi Minh city.
- When we first arrive Cu Chi Tunnel, our guide will show you the documentary film. You can watch to understand about how Vietnamese soliders survived during the war. Additionally, the video will also introduce how tunnels constructed in the past.
- Next, you will have a chance to know, see and discover the system of tunnels deep underground, can withstand the destructive power of the bomb attack from the US military. The air is taken into the tunnel through the vents. It includes 3 levels: from the ground to the first floor is 3m deep, next the second floor is deep 6m and the third floor is deeper than 12m. Tour guide will show how the tunnel works.
- Visit a command center where visitors can eat meals that the Viet Cong fighters had eaten such as rice, typically steamed tapioca and hot tea
- Discover Hoang Cam smoke-less stove, secret hide-outs, fighting bunkers, dangerous booby traps and rice paper workshop
- Then, you will be served special tea and cassava which are guerrilla’s food during the war.
- You have a break time to relax or try shooting a variety of Vietnam War era weapons such as the M16 rifle or AK-47, as well as a light machine gun like the M60
- Finish the tour, the bus will take you back to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh city center

Robert was an especially great guide, who did a fantastic job explaining different aspects of the day, while teaching us various bits about language, culture and food. We are a family with 6 children between the ages of 3 and 16, and Robert did a great job making it an awesome experience for every age. The kayaking was a lot of fun, and worked for every age. And the kids (and adults) had a great time in the cave. The private tour worked great for our family, giving us flexibility on schedule (we were running late in the morning), and the route that our boat took was away from the large crowds and never felt very busy. The food was great for lunch - much better than I expected. Shrimp, squid, fish, crab, rice, fruit, spring rolls, etc. It was really a great day, and Robert helped to make everything really nice for our family. I would 100% recommend.
