Hue Cycling Tour To Thanh Toan Tile-Roofed Bridge

This half-day tour also includes a visit to Thanh Thuy village, which is known for its tile-roofed bridge – Thanh Toan Bridge. This bridge is one of the country’s top five most beautiful roof bridges in Vietnam. It is a tourist attraction as well as an antique architectural relic of significant historic and cultural significance. Aside from that, Thanh Thuy village is one of the most beautiful villages in Hue due to its gorgeous roads and tranquil rural landscape. Despite development, it has retained all of the qualities of a typical Vietnamese village. If you’re lucky, you’ll get to observe local farmers harvesting rice and herding ducks in the rice fields. We strongly advise you to take this excursion early in the morning.

8:00 AM: Our tour guide with bike will be waiting for you at your hotel in the center of city to begin the journey. We will take you to little country roads to get away from the crowded metropolitan streets. On the way to Thanh Thuy village (8km east of Hue), we will experience the rural life of the Hue countryside at a local ducky farm. There are numerous ducks, duckies, and duck eggs to be found. It’s an excellent time to take some memorable photographs. We will show you how hardworking Vietnamese farmers may be in the rice fields while maintaining a positive attitude.

Before visiting one of the most beautiful family temples in Thanh Thuy Village, we will pass through and enjoy enormous rice paddy fields. This temple family is where we worship our ancestors with beautiful decoration and architecture.

Continue on the Hue bike trip to our destination, Thanh Thuy village, where we enjoy the distinctive architecture of the Thanh Toan Tile – Roofed Bridge. It is considered unique and has a high artistic value among Vietnam’s historic bridges. It is designed in the form of a house above a bridge, giving it the appearance of a traditional house from a distance. You will have a chance to learn about the Thanh Toan Bridge’s history and why it has been designated as a cultural monument in Vietnam, as well as what makes it so beautiful and well-known.

In addition, we will have the opportunity to explore the local market near Thanh Toan Bridge in the morning. This village market, unlike other commercial centers, retains the spirit of the Vietnamese ancient market.

On the other side of the bridge, there is an Agricultural Museum with a variety of tools for farmers working on the rice field in the old day. This is also a great place to learn about rice cultivation and harvesting.

After going around, take a rest and have some Vietnamese coffee with peanut candy. Relax and take in the scenery of the village while keeping an eye on the locals. Buffaloes and storks occasionally appear in the village’s rice field.

A deposit of 30% of the tour value per person by credit card or bank transfer plus bank charges (processing fees) is required upon confirmation of your booking (If this amount is less than US$500, a 50% deposit will apply). Once a deposit is received it is understood that you have read, understood, and accepted all of our Terms and Conditions.

The remaining balance of the tour value (70%) is due upon your arrival in Vietnam, payable in Hanoi. Cash is preferred to reduce any processing fees that may affect your cost.

CHILD DISCOUNT:

Free of charge for one child who is under the age of four years old when accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and sharing the same room with them. This discount is subject to availability for airfares and will be charged if any usage of airfare on tour.

A tour price of 75% of full paying adult will be charged for one child from 4 to 8 years old when accompanied by at least two full-paying adults and stays in the same room. An extra bed is provided without any payment.

Children at the age of twelve or older will be charged as an adult. Please be prepared to show appropriate identification clearly stating the date of birth when confirming the services.
